marinade in which they are soaked to penetrate. Packed in olive oil or
vinegar.
Kombu: A wide, thick dark green sea vegetable. Used in making soups
and for cooking with beans.
Kudzu (KUD-zoo): A white starchy powder made from the root of the
kudzu plant. Used for thickening soups, sauces and puddings. |
